A bold graphic is what makes a tee yours, so it is worth a little care. Most damage to prints happens in the washing machine and the dryer, not while you wear them.
1. Turn it inside out
This is the single most important habit. The print does not rub against other clothes or the drum.

2. Cold water
Hot water softens and cracks prints over time. Cold or lukewarm water cleans everyday wear perfectly well.
3. Gentle cycle, mild detergent
Use a gentle programme and avoid strong detergents and bleach. Skip fabric softener on printed areas.
4. Dry flat or hang in the shade
Tumble dryers are hard on prints. Hang the tee in the shade or dry it flat; direct sun fades both the print and the fabric.
5. Iron inside out
Never iron directly on the print. Turn the tee inside out and use a low to medium setting, or put a cloth between the iron and the design.
A note on embossed and puff prints
Raised prints need the same care, and should never be ironed directly. Fold the tee instead of hanging it on a thin hanger for long periods.
